We make online tools for teams who have to turn a plan into work. That is one product: OGSM.online, the platform organizations use to put their strategy on one page and then execute it.

Remco works where people and technology meet: he works out how the software does what people need. He co-wrote Bridging Strategy and Execution, the book the method behind the platform is based on.
Frank Groeneveld
Owner
Frank has been here since the start in 2014, first as a software supplier through his own company and later as co-owner. He turns ideas into working software, and the security architecture behind our ISO 27001 certification is his.
Going since 2014
We started in 2014, then called Jester Tools, and have traded as Toolsfactory since January 2022.
From the start we built together with customers. Not as a marketing line, but because there is no other way to know: which reporting form gets filled in and which one gets skipped only becomes clear once someone has had to do it for a quarter.
We work for trade associations, government, small and medium businesses, financial institutions, care providers and large international companies. Toolsfactory is ISO 27001:2022 certified.
We believe in what people do
Methods, software and AI all make us faster. None of the three makes a choice for you. An OGSM is the plan of a group of people who decided together what they will and will not do, and that decision does not survive being automated away.
You can see that belief in the product. Progress reports are deliberately short, so the thinking happens at the table and not in the form. Every AI suggestion shows what changed, and the user decides whether it stays. Administrators can switch AI off for the whole environment.
We build tools that prepare the conversation. The team still has to have it.
How we work
We use our own method. A monthly action review, a quarterly strategy review, and an OGSM that says what we want to achieve this year and what we are leaving out. Not out of principle, but because otherwise we would make exactly the mistakes the platform exists to prevent.
It also makes for better software. Anyone who has to use their own product seriously every quarter notices within two sessions which screens do not work.
Doing business with Toolsfactory
In the Netherlands we offer OGSM.online together with our partners: consultants and trainers who provide the guidance at their clients. Outside the Netherlands we sell directly. Get in touch and you speak to one of us.
