The actions in the OGSM often involve work that spans multiple months. In such cases, we call them epics. The epics are divided into actions that are executed in sprints.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-83d579e\" data-block-id=\"83d579e\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Of course, we set up this OGSM in our own platform, <a href=\"https:\/\/toolsfactory.nl\/en\/ogsm-online\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"20\">OGSM.online<\/a>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-fdf762f\" id=\"annual-update\" data-block-id=\"fdf762f\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Annual update<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3d30c93\" data-block-id=\"3d30c93\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Annually, we evaluate and update our strategic plan. We test our assumptions against changing realities and adjust our strategies, KPIs, and actions where necessary.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-2e6b6a7\" id=\"quarterly-strategy-review-sessions\" data-block-id=\"2e6b6a7\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Quarterly: strategy review sessions<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-8caba16\" data-block-id=\"8caba16\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Each quarter, we organize a strategy review session where we focus on the question: &#8220;Are we doing the right things?&#8221; Here, we evaluate the results of our strategies and determine how we can improve or accelerate them. Selected actions are labeled &#8216;Current Sprint&#8217; and assigned to an owner.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-8222e7b\" id=\"implementation-and-testing\" data-block-id=\"8222e7b\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Implementation and testing<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-74cfc1d\" data-block-id=\"74cfc1d\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The owners execute actions and give them the status &#8216;In Progress&#8217;. When the action is complete, the result is tested by a colleague. For this, they use the definition of done, which specifies what the action must meet to be considered complete. For example, the action must comply with our information security policy, the help site must be updated, and automated tests must be written. The tester marks the action as &#8216;Completed&#8217; or sends it back for adjustments.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-2839ed3\" id=\"acceptance-testing\" data-block-id=\"2839ed3\"><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Acceptance testing<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-06eb3ed\" data-block-id=\"06eb3ed\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">This is a general test according to the test plan. We test not only new but also existing functionality. Because there are many dependencies, a change in one place can lead to bugs elsewhere. We add findings as new actions in the sprint.
